Welcome to My World

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Denise Lee moved to Dallas at age eleven. She was bitten by the acting bug in high school and began her professional musical theater career. She has appeared on stages throughout the Dallas/Forth Worth area in inspired roles that include the incomparable Billie Holiday in Water Tower Theatre's production of "Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill," Bloody Mary in Garland Summer Musical's "South Pacific" and as a character appropriately named "Beautiful Music" in Lyric Stage's "Human Comedy".

All of these roles allowed Denise to showcase her extraordinary and diverse vocal abilities but her astonishing talents are taken to a new level in her recent CD, "Someday Now," which is one of the most talked about releases in Dallas. The CD is a collection of R&B, jazz and pop tunes performed in Denise's unique style with an energy and passion that are absolutely unparalleled.
